Volleyball Connect — volleyball club management app

Attendance, matches and volunteers — your whole club in one app, on everyone’s phone.

01 The starting point

Volleyball Connect: attendance, matches and volunteers — your whole club in one app

Training attendance on a sheet of paper in the coach’s bag. Match call-ups in a WhatsApp group. And the volunteer rota, kept up to date by someone in a spreadsheet — until they stop keeping it.

On Saturday morning, nobody is quite sure who is running the buvette. On Tuesday evening, the coach counts heads from memory. And at the end of the season the committee has no figures to answer its own questions.

Works on every device

Phone, tablet or computer: the app opens in the web browser, with nothing to install.

  • Mobile
  • PC
  • Apple
  • Android

Free for players

Players use the app at no cost, on their own phone.

02 What it covers

One app, five uses

Every member opens the same address and lands where they have something to do. The rest is one tap away, in the menu.

Training

“I’m here”, in one tap

Players confirm they are there as they walk into the hall — one button, not a form. The coach ticks the squad off on an iPad at the side of the court, opens sessions ahead of time, leaves a note, and follows each player’s attendance across the season.

Championship

Who is coming, and who was there

The official fixture list comes in as it is. Players answer “I’m coming”; on match day the coach records what actually happened, corrects it, excuses absences, and calls up a player from another team if someone is missing. What was announced and what was seen stay two separate things.

Volunteering

The bar, the refereeing, the kitchen

The committee publishes its events and match slots; members sign up from their phone. The app warns you when a slot clashes with one of your own team’s matches, and whoever runs the activity checks people in on the day.

Emails

Write to the right people

The committee writes its message and picks its recipients among the players and their parents, from the club’s own data — one team, one category, one age group. It goes out as one batch, each person getting their own copy, with no separate list to keep and no addresses to copy and paste.

Members

The club roster, kept right here

Licences, teams, contacts, fees, kit: one record per member, editable on screen. It feeds everything else — the coaches’ squads, the email recipients, the volunteering quotas. One file, and no spreadsheet quietly drifting in a corner.

03 The screens

What your members will see

Real screenshots of the app, in English (App in French is also available). Names and dates are made up.

04 What changes

For each person, in their own role

Nobody has to learn a piece of software. Each person sees what concerns them.

The player

  • Confirms attendance on arrival
  • Says whether they are coming to the match
  • Signs up to volunteer in two taps
  • Finds every commitment on one page
Volunteer dashboard
Volunteers find their commitments and their counter on a single page.

The coach

  • Ticks off the squad courtside
  • Opens sessions, and repeats them
  • Reads attendance, player by player
  • Shares a link straight to one match
Training attendance statistics per player
Attendance, player by player. Two rates: a reported absence does not count against you.

The committee

  • Creates and duplicates activities
  • Sees who is coming, and when
  • Rules on late cancellations
  • Pulls the season’s figures
Creating a new volunteering event
The committee creates its activities, duplicates them from one weekend to the next, and sees at a glance how many places are left — without opening a spreadsheet.

05 The details

What makes the difference in daily use

Small things that save time at every training session and on every match day.

QR badge or password

Every member has a badge to hold up to the camera. On the tablet at the door, a queue moves fast.

French and English

The language is chosen once and follows the person from one device to the next. The whole app, not just the front page.

Built for the phone

Designed and measured on a 360 px screen — the one that stays in a pocket through training.

Inside your own website

The app opens at your club’s own address, in your own look. Nothing to install, no account to create.

A volunteering counter

Every attendance that was actually checked counts. A target per category, visible to everyone — encouragement, not a ceiling.

One link, one screen

The coach sends a link over WhatsApp; the player taps it and lands straight on that match, with nothing to search for.
